We believe in beauty and diversity. Therefore, Crystal City Homes is designed to accept clients’ building designs and allow them to self-construct with their own certified contractors, under our supervision to ensure conformance to standards. If you'd want to build for yourself, this is for you.
Crystal City Homes also permits homeowners to use Crystal City designs and employ their own contractors or contract Crystal City to build.
Building Scheme
Outright Payment
This scheme allows mortgage or self-financing of the entire project before commencement per signed agreement.
- Signed undertaking spelling out the scope of the project and project financing (Self or Bank).
- Construction is scheduled to be completed 6 months after 90% total payment is made based on deliberations between parties.
- At every major stage, client is invited to view progress of work until completion. This is to ensure optimum satisfaction and appreciation of company’s quality standards.
- After construction is completed on schedule and final payments made, the documents and keys are handed over to the client.
- Other matters related to the project are open for discussion.
Building Scheme
Pay in Stages
Project is undertaken in various major stages per the scope of work agreed.
- Client and company shall discuss and sign an undertaking spelling out the scope, mode of financing and maximum duration of the project.
- At every major stage, client is invited to view progress of work until completion. This is to ensure optimum satisfaction and appreciation of company’s quality standards by client.
- After construction is completed on schedule and all payments made, the documents and keys are handed over to clients.
- Other matters related to the project are open for discussion.
- It is also required that the maximum duration for the project be 3 years.

Material Schedule
Own Pace
This is where client buys building materials and pays for labour and supervision of work.
- Client and company sign an undertaking spelling out the scope of the project and duration.
- Clients shall, per the scheme, purchase building materials from Crystal City stores and as well employ labour within the company to ensure conformance to quality standards.
- At every major stage, client is invited to view progress of work until completion. This is to ensure optimum satisfaction and appreciation of company’s quality standards.
- After construction is completed on schedule and all payments made, the documents and keys are handed over to clients.
- It is also required that the maximum duration for the project be 3 years.
- Clients can discuss with management if they need more time to complete the project.
Construction Cost
Cost of building is calculated according to the square area of the building, the type of building, the details of the building design and the prevailing price of building materials needed for the completion of the project. This is to prevent wrong pricing. The quality of finishing of the building also has an effect on the final price of the entire project.
Build Yourself
This scheme allows clients to undertake construction by their own certified contractors.
- Per the company’s policy to encourage flexibility, clients are allowed to build at their own pace; construction should be completed within 5 years.
- Company will have supervisory role to ensure standards are conformed to.
